Program Note

Working on first orchestra piece lead me to imagine different textures of landscapes in larger scale. A Song of the Wind is mainly focused on various gestures of different instruments depicting the atmosphere of windy day. The initial inspiration was small flower petals’ fluttering motion with windblown scents, which I experienced in my hometown forest pathway. I tried to create dynamic unpredictable moments, in the same way as wind does.
